On-Campus Interviewing
Career Development Services is here to help you find your next internship, co-op, or full time job. Our on-campus interviewing is now being offered virtually.
We have nearly 100 companies conducting interviews on campus each semester exclusively for 鶹 students and recent alumni (up to one year post graduation).

Getting Activated For OCI
- Step 1: Upload your resume to Handshake.
- Step 2: To activate your OCI account, complete the survey in Handshake.
- Step 3: Once you complete the survey you will have access to access to search and apply to OCI opportunities.
OCI Program Policies & Guidelines
- Interview Attendance: Candidates are expected to sign up for and attend all interviews they are selected for.
- Cancelation Policy: Candidates may withdraw from consideration prior to the resume deadline, but interview cancelations are not permitted.
- No-show Policy: Candidates who fail to attend an interview will have their OCI account suspended. Candidates must meet with a Career Development Services staff member to discuss OCI reactivation.
Finding and Applying to OCI Opportunities
- Finding Opportunities: OCI opportunities can be found in Handshake under the “Jobs” tab. Once you are on this page, select "All Filters" then "Interviewing On- Campus" then "Show Results" to view opportunities.
- Application Deadlines: Each OCI opportunity has a different application deadline. In order to be considered for an opportunity, resumes must be submitted prior to the deadline close date/time.
Preparing for Your OCI Interview
- Interview Preparation: Candidates are strongly encouraged to practice for their interview via or by scheduling a practice interview with their career advisor via Handshake.
- Information Sessions: Some companies conduct information sessions prior to their OCI to provide an overview of their organization and answer questions about their open opportunities. A list of information sessions and registration information can be found in Handshake under “Events.”
Interview Day Details
- Interview Outfit: Candidates are expected to wear business professional attire: suit/tie, pant/skirt suit.
- Interview Location: On-campus interviews are held in the Career Development Services office: Fenster Hall, Room 400. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Virtual interviews will be conducted via an online platform determined by the employer.
After the Interview
- Hiring Outcomes: Companies will contact you directly regarding second-round interviews or hiring outcomes. Each organization has a different hiring process and timeline, therefore, it is recommended that you ask about next steps at the end of your interview.
- Accepting a Job Offer: In accordance with our Job Offer Acceptance Policy, once you accept an offer, please withdraw your application from any other job opportunities.
