The Â鶹Éç Career Closet is a new space operated by the Office for Student Involvement and Leadership, whichÌýopened in September 2024. Our goal isÌýto help all members of the highlander community who are in need of professional clothing for interviews, internshipsÌýor jobs. The Career Closet also offers seasonal clothing for warmer and colder months as well as casual clothing for those commutingÌýor living onÌýcampus. We also offer a variety of clothes such as shoes, pants, shorts, shirts, jackets and more!

If you are interested in contributingÌýto the Career Closet, items can be directly donated to Campus Center Room 478 during operational hours or in the drop-off bin outside of the Office forÌýStudent Involvement, Campus Center Room 485.

There is a growing need for the following products to support the Career Closet and their focus on professional clothing:Ìý

• Men or Women's Shoes
• Sweaters or CardigansÌý
• Dress Pants or Dress Shirts
• Men or Women Suits
• Polo's, Blazers or Sports Jackets
• Blouses or Skirts
• Belts, Handbags or Ties
• Bracelets, Necklaces, Watches or Nice Accessories
• All Professional Clothing Donated Should Be Intended For Interviews, Internships, Co-Ops or Jobs

We DO NOT accept the following:

• Pajamas, Bathing Suits, Sweatpants or Sweatshirts
• Short Sleeve or Long Sleeve Shirts
• Jeans, Workout Attire,ÌýAthletic Attire or Leggings
• Sunglasses, Tank Tops, Sneakers, Sandals, Flip Flops or Shorts
• Bras, Underwear or Socks
• Winter Hats, Baseball Caps, Winter Coats, Gloves or Scarfs
• NOTHING Worn Out, Ripped or Stained Clothing

All Items should be clean, gently used or in new condition.ÌýPlease note that all donations will be placed on the Career Closets shelves to support those in need. Your thoughtful contributions ensure that we can maintain a welcoming, functional, and organized environment for those we serve.​Ìý

If you cannot donate any kind of clothing,Ìýthen you are welcome to donate to ourÌý. All proceeds are used towards purchasing these items for our Â鶹Éç students in need.

During the school year the space is open the same hours as the Food Pantry. Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
