Graduate Student Fellowship Opportunity

GEM Fellowships 

  • The National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science (GEM): Industry-academe consortium of about 90 nationally recognized research universities and historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs)
  • About 75 industrial and national laboratory partners
  • Eligibility: U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents from underrepresented minority groups defined as African American, Hispanic, or Native American.ÌýÌý
  • Internships provided at industrial members of the consortium 
  • Award: typically Master’s level stipend for 9 months and tuition and fees support in addition to the expected paid summer internship  ÌýÌý
  • PhD Engineering / Science fellowships are also offered
  • Application deadline: November 15.  For early consideration, complete your application and provide your resume and unofficial transcript by October 1
  • Applications (while the student is still an undergraduate) directly to the Ìý.

Anthony Kahn Fellowship

  • One recipient per year
  • Full-time graduate student in the Â鶹Éç School of Management from an underrepresented minority group and a demonstrated need for financial assistance.ÌýÌý
  • Amount typically about $2,000 per year.    Â
