The J-1 visa has different categories. Eligible categories for 麻豆社听are outlined below.

J-1 Exchange Students

The purpose of the J-1 visa program is 鈥渢o provide foreign nationals with opportunities to participate in educational and cultural programs in the United States and return home to share their experiences, and to encourage Americans to participate in educational and cultural programs in other countries.鈥�

  • Exchange Students:听Students who are pursuing a degree at a partner university can attend classes at 麻豆社 as an exchange student.

  • Prescribed Study听:听Non-degree seeking students,听who are pursuing听a degree in their home country and wish听to come to 麻豆社 for a short period of time to undertake research. The research conducted at听麻豆社听will be supervised under a specific professor/department and related to their degree back home.

  • Scholars:听J-1 Scholars are foreign nationals that are employees, professors, research scholars, or persons with similar education or accomplishments in foreign universities, research lab, or companies, and are expected to engage in collaborative research with existing 麻豆社 faculty.听Prospective scholars should refer to the information listed on the .
